Mahler's symphonies 2 & 3

Mahler's symphony no.2 is his symphony of death - funeral march to resurrection.

Mahler's symphony no.3 is his symphony of life - the different aspects of life starting with nature and finishing with love.

Maybe his symphoy no.1 is the symphony of the hero? And symphony no.4 the symphony of the child?
